2025 Pediatric Complex Care Awards

The Pediatric Complex Care Awards are supported by the Systems & Policy Research Network, Family Voices, the Academic Pediatrics Association Complex Care and Disability Special Interest Group, and the Children’s Hospital Association. The awards recognize individuals who have made extraordinary contributions in areas such as clinical care delivery, advocacy, policy, administration, research, and education/training, while also honoring lived experience.

This year’s Pediatric Complex Care Award winners have been selected and recognized. Lifetime Achievement Awards were presented to Dr. Ellen Roy Elias and Cheri Scott, and the Mid-Career Award was presented to Dr. Rahel Berhane.

The awardees have each had local celebrations to acknowledge this honor. Each awardee will also be recognized in April during a national award ceremony at the Family Voices Leadership Conference and at the 2026 Pediatric Academic Society Meeting Complex Care Special Interest Group meeting.
